From Theory to Applied Geography - GSG100
Selected manuscripts from the conference materials will be published in the 2025 editions of the Georgian Geographical Journal after passing the appropriate review procedures.
Georgian Geographical Journal is published under the auspices of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography and Alexander Javakhishvili Geographical Society.
The main mission of the journal is to promote the development of scientific research and the availability of research results to the international community. The journal is published in an online format, articles are accepted in English in the fields of Geography, Geology and Anthropology (additional information see here). Published articles are assigned a DOI and are easily accessible to the reader, increasing their citation opportunities. The magazine has an international editorial board. The Google Scholar IF citation index of the journal is 0.78 (2022). Articles from the journal have been cited in publications such as Springer, MDPI.
The policy of the journal is aimed at encouraging regional research. The journal pays special attention to encouraging young researchers. In doing so, it tries to contribute to the academic advancement of young scientists and to raising the international awareness of their research.
Preparation of the posters:
Poster Size - All posters should be in portrait or landscape format and size: A0 (1189 mm high and 841 mm wide).
Format - The poster should be easily readable at a two-meter distance.
Use UPPER and lower case for general content, as all-capital text is difficult to read. Avoid using mixtures of type/font styles.
Text and presentation should be in English only.
The top of the poster should display, in lettering not smaller than 3 cm in height, the following information:
- Title of the Paper
- Name(s) of the Author(s)
- Affiliation(s) Please be aware that all display material should be prepared in advance. It is not possible to print posters at the meeting site.
