Project Summary: Tbilisi as the already formed megalopolis is distinguished by a significantly transformed environment, whose transformation and ecological problems are significantly related to the process of urbanization, where the long-term human activity played a decisive role and led to the significant difference of the modern landscapes of Tbilisi's surroundings from the natural territorial complexes that were formed here for a long time. For the functioning of Tbilisi as a capital city, the stability of its geographical environment, its endogenous and exogenous factors and processes are studied and taken into account in the development trend of the city.
