Project title: Cartography of geomorphological processes
Funding organization: International Educational Center
Start and end dates:2018

Project Summary: The territory of Georgia is distinguished by a wide range of geodynamic processes: landslides, landslides, rockfalls, washing of banks and others. In many cases, their activation manifests itself in an extreme natural disaster, which causes significant damage to the population, infrastructure facilities, agricultural fields and, of course, the country's economy. The most evident proof of this fact is the death of Tbilisi on June 13, 2015. The natural event in the Vere valley killed several people and damaged the country's budget by tens of millions of GEL. In the history of Georgia, similar catastrophic events have been recorded many times, bringing great harm to our country. Consequently, it becomes clear that geodynamic processes and their distribution require severe scientific research to minimize the damage caused by similar cases.
Achieved results: Within the framework of the qualification improvement program, I mastered geomorphological processes, modern cartography methodology and remote sensing methodology, which is actively implemented in foreign scientific institutions.
