A Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Geography of the Tbilisi State University Lasha Asanidze, as a young scientist, received an important scientific award and recognition in 2023. He won the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia 2023-year competition - Rustaveli Foundation Award for Outstanding Achievements in Science.
