On November 2-5, an international conference was held at the Institute of Geography named after Vakhushti Bagrationi of Tbilisi State University, with participation of the Institute of Geography, Justus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany; Faculty of Geography and Geology, Yerevan State University, Armenia; Institute of Geological Sciences, National Academy of Sciences of Republic of Armenia and Institute of Geography named after Acad. H.A. Aliyev of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The summer school was organized within the framework of the German Academic Exchange Program DAAD project: "GIS-Based Solutions for ENP in the South Caucasus".
